Branding & Design Asset Requirements
To kickstart your branding journey with BrownSugar Solutions, we require all logos in AI, EPS, or high-resolution PNG/SVG formats. If your logo isn’t in a vector format, our reconstruction service starts at ZAR 850, which includes assessment and digital restoration.
To ensure a smooth and cohesive process, please finalize your fonts, color palettes, and brand assets before we begin any design work.
Once the artwork has been approved by you and released to the press, any revisions requested after that stage will be billed at our standard hourly rate. This is because approval confirms that all design recommendations from our side have been completed and all client feedback has been integrated. At the press-ready stage, files are locked and prepped for production — changes after this point require rework, re-preparation, and reproofing, often affecting timelines and press costs. We apply care and precision at every phase, and ask the same from our clients when signing off.

Should you require additional features such as a login system, membership options, or complex forms, these will necessitate a scope extension, as they are not included in the standard package unless specifically quoted. WooCommerce Guidelines
For our WooCommerce projects, BSS sets clear guidelines to ensure that your online store operates smoothly and effectively. Product images play a crucial role in online sales, and we require all images to be at least 800px by 800px to maintain uniformity and visual appeal. Each product entry in your store is allocated a specific number of images and details, ensuring a consistent presentation across your catalog. Should you need additional images or detailed descriptions beyond the standard allocation, these will incur extra fees. Our structured approach to product entries helps streamline the process, allowing for a professional and cohesive online shopping experience that attracts and retains customers.
Project Management
At BSS, our project management fee is designed to cover the essential aspects of your project, including initial meetings, comprehensive research, minor fixes, and necessary scope adjustments. This fee ensures that we can dedicate the time and resources needed to understand your needs and deliver a tailored solution. In instances where design files are incomplete, contain missing links, or require modifications, additional work will be billed accordingly. For printing projects, all files must be linked correctly, as unlinked files will require extra time and incur additional fees. Our transparent fee structure is intended to prevent surprises and ensure that your project is completed on time and within budget, fostering a collaborative and efficient working relationship.
Payment Terms and Deployment
At BSS, we prioritize transparency and clarity in our payment and deployment processes to ensure a seamless experience for our clients. All website projects must be fully paid before deployment, with no exceptions. This policy guarantees that all parties are aligned and ready for a successful launch. Additionally, any SMTP setup requires client-provided details; should we need to retrieve these details, our standard hourly rate will apply. Please note that email creation is a separate service and is not included unless specified in your package.
